K Recommends: “Do It” by Aphrodite’s Child

Here’s a simple little ditty for ya. You’re welcome.

Okay, “Do It” might be short with a simple title but there is a lot going on here in under 2 minutes. The drums never stop and maintain a gallop that has enviable amounts of cardio. The guitars alternate between precision finger-work and playing that just keeps driving or at least revs up their badass engines so we all take notice while our jaws drag the floor. This whole band urges listeners to “Do It” like that’s a dare. Dare to listen to a song that’s only a minute and some change long but will throttle you.

It might help you build core strength, too.

Of note: Vangelis was putting much prog into this band back in the 60s/early 70s. Check out a recent Vangelis solo track recommendation by Tyrel since you’re already here! Do it!
