Track 24: Where No Music Ever Played by Damon Thomas

I never had much to say about John Denver. He knew The Muppets. Wasn't great at flying. That's about it. But then I got a new landlord who came with a warning – "Never mention John Denver!" His wife had left him in the 70s. Convinced John Denver's "Annie's Song" was about her. A call to a former lover answered by a stranger. I thought of this as I headed in to pay rent. At an office where no music ever played.
