I totally get the sentiment underneath — appreciate life for how miraculous it really is, etc. — but my dudes, their execution is deeply flawed. The whole “accept everything you see without question and don’t attempt to better understand the world in which you live” approach to life is stupid and dangerous and I hate it.
You can appreciate and hold deep love for the magic of existence, the wonder of the unknown, and the comforts of the old ways — just don’t be a fucking idiot about it and reject knowledge like these guys.
